Baking, tobogganing and living.
100 photos a day is my year long art project to see what life looks like in 100 photos a day and I am now
almost at 70 days – or over 7000 photos for this year. When this project is finished I will have over 36, 600 photos to use. There are days where 100 seems like a stretch and I have difficulty reaching that number, but there are other days where I have taken 250 photos in one day.
I’m not sure what the end goal is for the project. I have plans to use the photos and put them into a book with each page being a day in the year showing 100 photos for that day. I have stopped putting up the pdf sheets of the photos for right now until I am sure that they will work with the book publishing software that I want to use.
I did up a photo book at Christmas for Jen and used Blurb and it was pretty good. I just need to work it out. Right now Flickr has another company that does books as well. It is such a great way to save your photos without printing them all out. Ok, quick math…36, 600 photos times $0.15 per print (4X6) = $5490 – I can have a book printed up for just under $200.
I’ll keep taking pictures and see how it ends up. We are off to the waterpark for a vacation this week so there should be some good photos.
