So the first full day with campers went fairly smooth. The weather was hot, really hot. Cooled off a bit in the afternoon allowing chapel to be nice and cool- just windy.
A couple of sprained ankles at night game – par for course.
Great work by all the staff. Our kitchen team has really stepped up since our head cook had to leave. Great Choose Your Own Adventure sessions for the campers too – it is awesome seeing 8 year old campers learning guitar at camp.
Just got back to the house after late night session of grant paperwork. At least it is 90% done now.
Tomorrow is coming fast. Time to sleep.
